Everton boss Roberto Martinez has insisted that his side are only focused on picking up their third win in a row in the Premier League rather than revenge when they face Swansea City.
The Swans dumped Martinez's men out of the Capital One Cup in September with a convincing 3-0 win at the Liberty Stadium.
However, the Spaniard has revealed that he has been focused on getting his side back to their peak form, rather than seeking a reprisal against Garry Monk's side.
Martinez told the club's official website: "You don't play games to look back at the last time you played against that opposition. For us, it's more about where we are now.
"We're getting towards the end of the start of the league campaign and it's very important that we finish this first third of the season really strongly.
"The next three fixtures before the international break are really important for us to make sure that we are in a perfect position for where we want to be."
Everton face Swansea at Goodison Park in their Premier League match later today.
