Everton full-back Bryan Oviedo is a doubt for Saturday's FA Cup quarter-final against Chelsea because of a chest infection.

Everton full-back Bryan Oviedo is a doubt for Saturday's FA Cup quarter-final against Chelsea because of a chest infection.

The Costa Rican has been preferred to Leighton Baines for Everton's last seven games, but could be out of the squad at the weekend.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Oviedo went to hospital this morning and will be assessed by the Toffees' medical staff in the next two days.

Everton head into the match on the back of a late 3-2 defeat to West Ham United in the Premier League.
