Leighton Baines: 'We caused our own problems'

Everton defender Leighton Baines urges his side to improve, despite their 3-1 FA Cup win over Swansea City.

Leighton Baines has conceded that Everton made life hard for themselves against Swansea City earlier today.

The Toffees eventually won the FA Cup tie 3-1, but Jonathan de Guzman earlier levelled up the score at one goal apiece.

Speaking after the match, Baines, who scored his team's third goal, told ITV Sport: "We were the better team and deserved to win, but if anything we caused ourselves problems by being sloppy in possession.

"We know we can improve on that. Our own problems were our own doing rather then being caused by them."

Everton will face the winners of the ongoing Arsenal against Liverpool clash for a place in the semi-finals.
