England captain Steven Gerrard has admitted that the team needs Gary Cahill for Euro 2012.
The defender is a doubt for the tournament after picking up a jaw injury in Saturday's 1-0 win over Belgium at Wembley Stadium.
The Football Association will make an announcement over his fitness on Sunday after he undergoes an X-ray.
"We need him," Gerrard told talkSPORT. "His performances for Chelsea for the last six months have been fantastic. We need him fit."
England start their Euro 2012 campaign on Monday, June 11 when they take on France in Donetsk.
