Hello all! Thanks for joining me for this one as well - no time for anything else other than the team news.

BRAUNSCHWEIG XI: Davari; Elabdalloui, Bicakcic, Dogan, Perthel; Kratz, Oehrl, Theuerkauf, Bellarabi, Boland; Ademi

HERTHA XI: Kraft; Schulz, Lustenburger, Brooks, Van den Bergh; Hosogai, Cigerci; Ndjeng, Skjelbred, Ronny; Ramos

KICKOFF: We're underway here then. Hertha on the attack straight away and win a free kick through Ronny on the right.

There are fireworks and flares in the crowd - a lot of them early on. I think it's the away section, as Ronny's free kick goes all the way through and out for a goal kick.

The fireworks have now given this one a misty look, as Lustenburger has to be alert to hack clear a through ball. The hosts just getting into this now as Boland shoots but his shot hits Lustenburger and goes behind for a corner.

Another effort on goal from Braunschweig, who are looking settled and confident right now. It's Ademi who shoots, but his effort from the corner of the box is wayward and well over.

SAVE! Sight of goal there for ademi, and this time he gets it on target. Oehrl pulls of a fine little backheel, but the shot down low is comfortable for Kraft.

Another shot from Ademi, whose effort from the left side of the box is deflected wide. Hertha are looking a little shaky at the back and haven't been forward since early in this one. Can Braunschweig get the goal their dominance deserves?

OFF THE BAR! Suddenly Hertha could be ahead. Nico Schulz works some space in the box and rifles a shot goalwards, but just cannot keep it down enough and it comes back into play off the crossbar.

Nicely worked move there from the visitors. Ronny slides in Schulz down the left and his cross is deflected behind by Dogan.

GOAL! Braunschweig 0-1 Hertha (Adrian Ramos)

That is as good a header as you're likely to see! Ronny puts in the outswinger to the edge of the six yard box and Ramos hurls himself at the ball through a sea of bodies and guides his diving header into the net.

The visitors are now well and truly on top. Schulz has been involved with everything in the last five minutes. This could be an important 20 or so minutes in Braunschweig's season - if they roll over now it's a long way back.

The hosts break through Bellarabi and waits for the overlap from Elabdalloui. The right-back has time, but his first-time cross is awful and goes way beyond the far post where no teammates were expecting it.

Wasteful there from Ronny, but he has played well so deserves a selfish moment. His shot from about 30 yards is slashed well over the bar, though. He can certainly do better than that.

This is a bit better from the hosts, but they just don't quite have the pace to worry Hertha too much at the moment. Bellarabi tries to get on the ball down the right, but Van den Bergh tracks him well and wins the ball first.

Appeal for a penalty a few moments ago from Braunschweig. Boland gets through the middle with some chest control and the ball is muscled off him by Van den Bergh. It would have been a harsh penalty, certainly, but they are sometimes given.

BOOKING: Hosogai gets his staple yellow card for ripping through the back of Boland. Needless foul, really, but that's just Hosogai all over.

Hertha are looking quite comfortable at the moment. They are not creating much in the way of chances, but being the away team and ahead the onus is not really on them. Braunschweig are sitting deep with every player in their own half when Hertha come forward.

BOOKING: Ndjeng is the next player into the book for being a bit over-exuberant with his tackle. Braunschweig have not threatened at all from their set pieces.

The quality has very much died down in this one from what was a promising start. Most of the play is coming from deep free kicks at the moment. Two minutes to be added on at the end of the half.

HALF TIME: Braunschweig 0-1 Hertha Berlin

So the first half started well but the quality went lacking in the last 15 minutes or so. The goal really seemed to hurt the hosts, who were the better team until going behind. They are far from out of it, but will need to improve.

Hertha will be pleased with their first half showing. They were not dominant by any stretch, but rode out the early pressure to take the lead against the run of play. Since then they have sat back slightly, but haven't come under much pressure of an equaliser.

Torsten Lieberknecht could well look to make some changes at the break, or one at least. Looking at the bench, Dominick Kumbela is the key man who could make a difference. They have lacked a focal point up front and he does provide that.

The hosts are back out on the pitch, looking motivated. Lieberknecht has done his bit and they now await the Hertha players.

There is a change at the break, but it's a forced one. Marcel Correia is on for Bicakcic, who took a blow to his nose. We're back underway then.

DOUBLE SAVE! Good work from the home keeper Davari. He dives low to his left to get a strong hand on to the first shot from Ronny then blocked Ramos's follow-up from a tight angle with his face. Really good goalkeeping.

Hertha have come out by far the better team this half. I felt that Braunschweig needed a quick goal in this half, but the visitors are picking up confidence and are looking increasingly threatening. The noise from the fans is still brilliant.

This is a bit better from the hosts as they look to work something down the right. Lustenburger has been really good coming across to help out his left-back though. Header on goal by Elabdalloui, but he was too far out to really test Kraft, who hangs on.

It really could be time for Kumbela here. Ademi is doing his best to press the defensive line up, but Hertha are holding out really solidly so far. It's been a good away showing to this point.

BOOKING: Perthel goes into the book for a slightly late tackle on the right. That's his first yellow of the season, and he doesn't kick up any sort of fuss about it.

On the break Ronny has options to his left and right. Schulz on his left is probably the best option but instead he tries to clip it over the top to Ndjeng and the hosts are able to clear. Really good chance to work something, that.

Oehrl gives away a free kick in what was a promising position. Lustenburger was running back towards his own goal with the ball and Oehrl really should not have put his arms into him. It was soft, yes, but there was enough pressure just by being there.

The hosts are getting on top of this one now - if only just about. They conceded in their last spell of slight dominance, and if they do so again then this one will be over.

BRAUNSCHWEIG SUB: Here does come Kumbela, with Kratz making way. It will probably be two up top now as Lieberknecht looks for something different.

The pressure that Braunschweig had started to build has dropped off now. Neither side is on top at the moment and indeed both are struggling to keep the ball. Hertha are just trying to slow it down as much as possible.

BOOKING: Schulz goes into the book after giving away a free kick in a dangerous position. Boland takes it but curls the cross right into the arms of a grateful Kraft.

HERTHA SUB: That's Schulz's last action as he makes way for Wagner.

CLOSE! That's a really decent effort from the free kick from Dogan. He went for the near post and just curled it the wrong side - it didn't quite have the right angle.

OFF THE BAR! Very nearly game, set and match! Sandro Wagner meets a corner and sees his header crash down off the underside of the bar and away to safety.

BOOKING: Van den Bergh takes one for the team there. He's caught for pace by Bellarabi on the right and tugs him down.

GOAL! Braunschweig 0-2 Hertha (Tolga Cigerci)

That will be that. It's counter-attacking at its finest. The referee initially plays on after a foul, with Ronny then driving goalwards. He passes early to Cigerci, who has the pace and he also has the finish as he guides a low effort into the far corner.

RED CARD! The referee has gone back to the incident he initially played on. Perthel was the man who made the foul and he was then shown his second yellow. Braunschweig two goals down and a man down now.

BOOKING: Bellarabi leaves his foot in on Ronny there and goes into the book. No hard feelings between the players as they bump knuckles after, but it was a fair booking.

HERTHA SUB: No need for Hertha to rush this now. They win the ball back in the Braunschweig half then work it back to Kraft. Peter Niemeyer comes on for Hosogai with Marc Pfitzner also on for the hosts - Dogan makes way.

HERTHA SUB: They're slowing the game down with some late subs. Ronny comes off to a standing ovation from the away fans. Youngster Hany Mukhtar is on.

FULL TIME: Braunschweig 0-2 Hertha Berlin
