Dundee midfielder Glen Kamara could sign for Rangers this month as the clubs discuss a transfer.
Rangers announced last weekend that the Finland international and Kilmarnock winger Jordan Jones had agreed deals to move to Ibrox in the summer.
Dundee boss Jim McIntyre told Sky Sports News: "There have been discussions on whether he goes now and those discussions are ongoing, and we will see if we can come to some sort of solution.
"I think when a player signs a pre-contract, nine times out of 10 he would rather move on. I think everybody is aware of that."
