Big-spending Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala are reportedly keen on signing Doncaster Rovers hitman El Hadji Diouf.

The Senegal striker's short-term contract with the Rovers ends next month.

LA Galaxy are also interested in the 30-year-old, but Anzhi have recently attracted players such as Samuel Eto'o and Roberto Carlos with offers of high salaries.

Diouf signed for struggling Doncaster in October.
