Derby County's Raul Albentosa to join Malaga on loan?

Raul Albentosa is set to join Malaga on loan from Championship side Derby County.

Derby County have revealed that they are in talks with Malaga over a loan move for Raul Albentosa.

The 26-year-old joined Derby on a two-and-a-half-year contract in January from La Liga side Eibar for an undisclosed fee.

The Spaniard went on to make nine appearances, seven of which were starts, for the Rams in the second half of the season.

Derby confirmed this afternoon that Albentosa was not in the squad for the pre-season friendly against Northampton Town as talks with Malaga continue.
