Derby County are reportedly preparing to launch a bid for Crystal Palace striker Glenn Murray.
The 31-year-old is currently on loan to Reading until January, and the Royals have been given an option to buy Murray when the loan period ends.
Murray scored 30 goals to help Palace win promotion to the Premier League two seasons ago, but he has fallen out of favour at Selhurst Park since suffering a serious knee injury in 2012.
According to the Croydon Advertiser, promotion hopefuls Derby are lining up a £3.5m bid for the frontman.
Murray has netted five times in 11 appearances for Reading.
