Ten-man Dallas battled for 70 minutes against the Seattle Sounders to earn a goalless draw in their MLS clash.
The home side were reduced to 10 men in the 18th minute when Kellyn Acosta was given a straight red card for a challenge on Andy Rose.
However, Dallas were not deterred from attacking as they won a free kick just outside the box which Michel fired at goal, only to see his effort come crashing off the crossbar.
In the second half, Seattle upped the ante and came within inches of the lead as Leonardo Gonzalez delivered a pinpoint cross into the box for Chad Barrett, but the striker somehow headed the ball wide of the target with the goal at his mercy.
The Sounders were beginning to find space down the flanks, which was exploited by Lamar Neagle when he teed up Barrett in the box, but the forward was unable to round Chris Seitz, who was able to smother the ball.
The visitors continued to threaten as Victor Mansaray beat his man down the left and fired a low cross into the box for the run of Rose, but the ball was diverted just past the post by Matt Hedges.
Seattle made a surge for a winner late in the match, but Dallas held out to earn a point.
