Matt McClure signs Dagenham & Redbridge deal

Dagenham sign former Wycombe striker Matt McClure on a two-year deal.

Former Wycombe Wanderers striker Matt McClure has joined Dagenham & Redbridge on a two-year contract.

The 23-year-old scored 26 goals in 124 games for Wycombe before being released by the club at the end of last season.

McClure is Dagenham's third signing of the summer following the arrivals of Josh Passley and Nyron Nosworthy at the League Two club.

"Matt McClure is a player I've known for quite a while and I'm delighted I've got someone who has got potential and can certainly play at this level and higher," Daggers boss Wayne Burnett said in a statement.

Dagenham start the new League Two season with a trip to Portsmouth on August 8.
