Alan Pardew is reportedly keen to bolster his midfield options at Crystal Palace by signing Yohan Cabaye.
The pair have worked together before, with Pardew signing the France international in 2011 when he was the manager of Newcastle United.
The 29-year-old was sold to Paris Saint-Germain in January 2014, but has struggled to force his way into Laurent Blanc's starting lineup on a regular basis.
That has brought about the interest from Pardew, who is prepared to offer Cabaye a return to the Premier League, according to the Daily Mail.
The report added that, while PSG's £10m asking price may be beyond Palace, the Eagles are hoping that they can negotiate a loan with a view to a permanent move.
It has also been suggested that the likes of Dwight Gayle, James McArthur and Mile Jedinak could be sold to help fund the deal.
