Crystal Palace allow David Wright to join Gillingham on a one-month loan deal.

League Two side Gillingham have signed David Wright from Crystal Palace on a one-month loan deal.

The 32-year-old midfielder has made three appearances for the Championship club this season and Gillingham manager Martin Allen was delighted to be able to add an experienced player to his squad.

Allen said: "He can play in midfield or anywhere in defence and is another good senior player with a good work ethic to add to our squad."

Wright has made 57 appearances for Crystal Palace since joining the club from Ipswich Town Town in 2010.
