Jose Campana leaves Crystal Palace for Sampdoria

Spanish midfielder Jose Campana leaves Crystal Palace to join Sampdoria for an undisclosed fee.

Crystal Palace have confirmed that midfielder Jose Campana has joined Sampdoria.

The 21-year-old has moved to the Serie A club for an undisclosed fee.

The Spaniard arrived at Selhurst Park on a four-year deal from Sevilla last summer, but he made only six appearances during his time with the Eagles.

Campana was loaned out to German side Nuremberg for the second half of last season.

His last appearance for Palace came during a 4-1 defeat to Fulham in the Premier League back in October 2013.
