Preview: Crystal Palace vs. Barnsley

Sports Mole previews Barnsley's trip to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace.

Crystal Palace play Barnsley at Selhurst Park on Saturday hoping to halt a run of three consecutive defeats.

Manager Ian Holloway has seen his team's automatic promotion bid come to a grinding halt, and the side must pick up three points if they are to maintain any hopes of finishing in the top two.

Andre Moritz could be handed a recall to the side after he began the Easter Monday defeat to Blackpool on the bench.

Barnsley have been in great form in recent weeks, picking up nine points from a possible 12 in a run that has seen them move to 20th place in the league table.

Manager David Flitcroft has seen his side pick up the majority of their points at Oakwell, but he will be confident of springing a surprise against the promotion hopefuls.

Flitcroft could decide to start with Chris Dagnall, who replaced Jason Scotland during the 2-0 victory over Leicester City.
