Former Crystal Palace manager Steve Coppell could reportedly return to the club for a fifth time as director of football.
The Eagles are said to be exploring plans to make an appointment this summer, with co-owner Steve Parish keen to introduce the role.
According to the Daily Mail, Coppell will be a contender for the position should it be introduced.
Coppell is considered a legend at Selhurst Park, having managed Palace on four separate occasions since 1984.
The 59-year-old has been director of football at Portsmouth and Crawley Town in recent seasons.
Coppell has also managed Reading, Brighton & Hove Albion and Bristol City during his career.
