Thomas Ince: "I need to be physically stronger"

Thomas Ince believes that he needs to improve his physical strength, but adds that his skill with the ball is also important.

Crystal Palace winger Thomas Ince has admitted that he needs to get stronger if he is to be successful in the Premier League, but feels that his ability with the ball is just as important.

Ince, who joined the Eagles on loan from Blackpool in January, scored on his debut as Palace secured a 3-1 win against West Bromwich Albion.

"I need to be physically stronger. I haven't had the luxury of Premier League training week in, week out, weight programmes and that sort of thing," Ince is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.

"I will gain strength playing week in, week out but I know if the gaffer [Tony Pulis] has that faith in me to play, sometimes it is what you do with the ball.

"If I can get into the box and get shots off and put the ball into the back of the net, that is all that matters."

Palace travel to Everton on Wednesday evening.
