Ian Holloway expresses his disappointment at the way Crystal Palace played against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway has described his side's performance against Brighton & Hove Albion today as "powderpuff".

The Eagles found themselves 2-0 down at the break and the match was put beyond them shortly after the restart when Brighton added a third goal.

"With the team I picked, I expected us to cause them a few more problems defensively and create a few more chances but unfortunately it didn't pan out that way," Holloway told BBC Sport.

"We needed to come out all guns blazing in the second half but we went out with a powderpuff really."

The defeat has left Palace fourth in the Championship standings with eight matches left to play.
