Scott Dann full of praise for in-form Glenn Murray

Scott Dann believes that the in-form Glenn Murray epitomised the way Crystal Palace play in Monday's win over Manchester City.

Scott Dann has claimed that Glenn Murray epitomises the way Crystal Palace approach games following Monday's 2-1 victory over Premier League champions Manchester City.

Murray scored the opening goal at Selhurst Park and produced another impressive performance as the leader of the Palace attack to encourage Dann to reveal his admiration for him when reflecting on the win.

"Glenn epitomised the way we played," the defender told reporters. "He has given us a platform to build on. He is strong and takes up some clever positions.

"You saw how good he is in the air. Not many people can hang like that in the air. He gave them a really tough time."

Murray, who spent time on loan at Championship club Reading earlier this season, has scored five goals in his last five appearances.
