Scott Dann urges Crystal Palace to finish the season strongly

Crystal Palace are targeting at least seven more points so that they beat their total from last season, says centre-back Scott Dann.

Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann believes that the club can beat last season's points tally in the final seven games of this campaign.

The Eagles won their third game in a row as they beat Manchester City 2-1 at Selhurst Park last night, thanks to goals from Glenn Murray and Jason Puncheon.

Dann told Sky Sports News: "We've got seven games left and we want to see how far we go in the league and try to beat the points total we got last season. When you play against the top teams like that you need a bit of everything, we were outstanding today and deserved the three points."

Palace scored 45 points last season on their return to the Premier League, and they are currently six shy of that total ahead of a trip to Sunderland
