Half-Time Report: Crystal Palace ahead against West Bromwich Albion

Debut goals from Thomas Ince and Joe Ledley put Crystal Palace 2-0 ahead against West Bromwich Albion at half time.

Crystal Palace are leading West Bromwich Albion 2-0 at half time at Selhurst Park.

Debutants Joe Ledley and Thomas Ince have both scored to put the home side in a commanding position at the break.

On-loan Blackpool winger Ince scored on 15 minutes, after Victor Anichebe had earlier wasted the Baggies' best chance of the half when he fired straight at Julian Speroni in the Palace goal.

The Baggies had Youssouf Mulumbu to thank when the midfielder cleared off the line before Ledley added the second shortly before the half-hour when he hammered the ball home with his left foot.
