Croatia have all but booked their place at the Euro 2012 finals with a 3-0 away win against Turkey in the first leg of their playoff.
Goals from Ivica Olic, Mario Mandzukic and Vedran Corluka have given Slaven Bilic's side a great chance of reaching next year's tournament in Poland and the Ukraine.
Bilic believes that Olic's goal after two minutes gave his team the impetus to go on and win the match.
"Nobody can expect a result like this when they come to Turkey," he said. "We know Turkey is a very emotional team and we are too so that goal lifted us."
The second leg takes place in Croatia on Tuesday.
