Brentford lead Crewe Alexandra at the half-time interval of their League One clash courtesy of Alan Judge's early goal.

Judge fired the visitors into a nine-minute lead, smashing the ball past Ben Garrett from the edge of the box.

Marcello Trotta's effort from inside the Crewe box was the closest the Bees came to doubling their advantage in the opening 45 minutes, with the striker dragging the ball wide of the target.
