Cordoba, Las Palmas to contest Segunda playoff

Cordoba will face Las Palmas in the final of the Segunda Division playoffs, with a place in La Liga on offer.

Deportivo La Coruna and Eibar automatically secured their promotion to La Liga during the normal season, with the final spot open to four teams.

Cordoba were paired with Real Murcia in the semi-finals of the playoffs and advanced with a 2-1 win in the second leg.

Las Palmas, meanwhile, beat Sporting Gijon 2-0 on aggregate.

The first leg of the final will take place on June 19, with the second leg due to be held three days later.
