Colombia attacker James Rodriguez is in line to face England in the last 16 of the World Cup, according to a report.

The Bayern Munich loanee limped out of the 1-0 win over Senegal and had been a doubt to line up against on the Three Lions in Moscow.

According to Colombian newspaper El Tiempo, however, Rodriguez has now undergone a scan which showed only muscle fatigue as opposed to a major injury.

The report goes on to suggest that the 26-year-old is not expecting to be in the starting XI but could come off the bench during the game against Gareth Southgate's side.

Rodriguez, the 2014 World Cup Golden Boot winner, had been carrying a niggle going into the tournament in Russia.
