England duo Frank Lampard and Ryan Bertrand have both been ruled out of Tuesday's World Cup qualifier against Poland.

Lampard is still recovering from a tear in his calf and did not take part in training on Sunday, although he is expected to be fit for Chelsea's match with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Blues teammate Bertrand is still recovering from a virus and will not travel with Roy Hodgson's squad.

However, Ashley Cole is expected to return to the fold.
