Aston Villa are reportedly still undecided on whether to sign Ross Barkley on a permanent deal from Chelsea at the end of the season.
The England international has performed well during his season on loan at Villa Park, scoring and assisting a combined four times in 14 appearances.
Villa have been tipped to snap up Barkley on a full-time basis, but Football Insider suggests that Chelsea's asking price is proving to be a stumbling block.
The Blues are said to be holding out for around £35m for the 27-year-old, which is considerably more than the Villans are prepared to pay.
It is thought that Villa will wait until the end of the campaign before holding talks with Barkley and Chelsea, but the West London outfit are not expected to budge on their valuation.
