Head coach Thomas Tuchel has acknowledged that he has been 'in daily contact' with Todd Boehly since the change of ownership at Chelsea.
For a number of months, the Premier League giants were hit by sanctions and restrictions, preventing Tuchel from making decisions with regards to his squad.
However, since a consortium spearheaded by Boehly has taken over from Roman Abramovich, the Blues have looked to be proactive in the transfer market.
While Boehly has taken on the role of interim sporting director, Tuchel has been provided with more control over which players arrive and depart Stamford Bridge.
As it stands, Raheem Sterling is the only new arrival at Chelsea, but that will soon change as the West Londoners sign a number of central defenders.

In an interview with The Mirror, Tuchel has acknowledged that he has been involved in an "intense", but necessary, period ahead of 2022-23.
The German said: "It is intense at the moment, And we connect and adapt to each other because we have never worked together and they are the owners.
"I am in contact with Todd directly on a daily basis and sometimes more than once on a daily basis because we are aware that we have a club in transition and change.
"My concern is the team to be competitive and for this we have to invest a lot of time and we need to be hands on. There is no other way."

Chelsea and Tuchel have been left disappointed by the development that Nathan Ake will remain at Manchester City this summer, rather than return to his former club.
However, Chelsea are on the brink of signing Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli on a long-term contract, the Senegal international the first player to act as a replacement for Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger.
If reports are to be believed, Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe may also arrive at the club over the coming weeks, Tuchel familiar with the player after his previous stint at Parc des Princes.
In light of the Ake setback, it is currently unclear whether Tuchel will promote youngster Levi Colwill to his senior squad or reignite his previous interest in Sevilla's Jules Kounde.
