Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly opened talks with Angers over a deal for attacking starlet Mohamed-Ali Cho.
The 18-year-old is enjoying his breakthrough year with Les Scoistes and has made 14 starts in the 2021-22 Ligue 1 season, scoring two goals in the process.
Cho's emergence has reportedly led to attention from several clubs across Europe, with Chelsea, AC Milan and Southampton all previously linked with a swoop.
Now, Football Insider claims that Tottenham are in discussions with Angers over a January deal and are prepared to fork out as much as £16.7m to secure his signature.
The report adds that Antonio Conte is keen for the club to sign Cho in order to provide support and competition to Harry Kane up top, with the teenager having just 18 months left to run on his Angers deal.
Cho spent time in Everton and Paris Saint-Germain's academies before joining Angers in the summer of 2020, and the former England youth international has three assists in five games for France's Under-21s.
