Chelsea are believed to be willing to sell Fernando Torres at the end of the season if he doesn't prove his worth in the next five months.
Reports emerged earlier this week claiming that the former Premier League champions are looking to offload the striker for £20m next month.
While the London club have stated that Torres is "part of the club's long-term plans", Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas will be open to suitable offers in the summer, according to The Independent.
It has been reported that Chelsea were considering selling the Spain international at the end of last season, despite only being at the club a matter of months following a £50m switch from Liverpool in January.
It is thought that the Blues' 34-year-old manager is in the market for a new frontman, which could eventually pave the way out of Stamford Bridge for Torres.
