Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso has said that he "would love to play in La Liga" and is open to joining Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid or Barcelona.
The 31-year-old has been a regular for the Blues during the 2021-22 campaign, making 34 appearances in all competitions, contributing two goals and four assists in the process.
Alonso's current deal at Stamford Bridge is due to expire next June, though, and there has been widespread speculation surrounding his future in recent months.
The Spain international has opened the door to leaving the Blues next year, with Real Madrid, Atletico and Barcelona all appealing moves for the left-back.
"I would love to play in La Liga, all my life I have wanted to play and be here in Spain, but the circumstances have been different and not everything has depended on me," Alonso told AS. "At the moment I am focused on this season and what has to be, will be.
"Yes, yes, I have family ties on all sides [if he would consider joining Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid or Barcelona]... Chelsea right now. I have a contract for this and one more season."
Alonso started his professional career at Real Madrid but only made one first-team appearance for the club before leaving for Bolton Wanderers.
