Report: Everton continue Romelu Lukaku pursuit

Everton are reportedly continuing to hold talks with Chelsea over a permanent deal with striker Romelu Lukaku.

Everton have reportedly continued to discuss a permanent deal for Romelu Lukaku with Chelsea.

The striker spent last season on loan with the Toffees, scoring 15 goals in 31 league appearances, and has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer.

According to Sky Sports News, Roberto Martinez is keen to bring Lukaku in on a permanent deal so that they will also be able to sign Christian Atsu on loan, as Premier League rules prevent clubs from having two players on loan from another top-flight side

Chelsea assistant coach Steve Holland recently said that he is not expecting the club to complete a Lukaku deal before August.
