Didier Drogba is expected to remain at Shanghai Shenhua for the foreseeable future, despite reports suggesting that he would leave the Chinese club.
The 34-year-old joined Shanghai from Chelsea in the summer, but it is understood that unpaid wages have caused concern at the Super League outfit.
The Ivorian has since denied that he has not been paid, but according to the Chinese media, Drogba was looking to leave in January.
However, Orient Sports Daily have now reported that the experienced striker will indeed remain at Shenhua along with Nicolas Anelka.
Shanghai resume their league campaign against Dalian Aerbin on Saturday.
