Report: Chelsea to move for Javier Zanetti

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly preparing a move for Inter Milan veteran Javier Zanetti when his contract expires this summer.

Chelsea are reportedly preparing to offer Javier Zanetti a player/coach contract when his Inter Milan deal expires in June.

The 40-year-old can operate in a number of positions and Blues boss Jose Mourinho believes that he would add some invaluable experience to his side, according to Goal.com.

The former Argentina international played under Mourinho during their time at the Nerazzurri together, and he could be tempted into a reunion with the Portuguese coach.

Zanetti won 145 caps for his country before retiring from international football.
