Report: Chelsea in new Filipe Luis bid

A report claims that Chelsea have made a fresh £15m offer for Atletico Madrid left-back Filipe Luis.

Chelsea have reportedly made a fresh £15m offer for Atletico Madrid left-back Filipe Luis.

The Brazilian is widely regarded as one of the best full-backs in European football, with his performances last season helping Atletico claim their first La Liga title since 1996.

However, Chelsea have been strongly linked with a move over the last couple of months, with Luis also believed to be keen on a transfer to London.

According to The Times, Chelsea have made a new £15m offer, but it is understood that Atletico are still looking for closer to £20m.

Atletico have already lost Diego Costa to Chelsea this summer.
