Chelsea have reportedly struck a deal with Atletico Madrid that will see star striker Diego Costa move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
The 25-year-old has been one of La Liga's standout performers this season, netting 26 goals in 31 appearances.
Costa's stunning form has not gone unnoticed and Blues boss Jose Mourinho, who has spoken openly about his need to sign a prolific forward, appears to have beaten a host of top clubs to his signature.
According to Spanish newspaper El Confidencial, Costa will join Chelsea on June 30 for a transfer fee of £50m, which would make him the club's joint-record signing alongside Fernando Torres.
Costa will face Chelsea later this month when Atletico take on the 2012 champions in the semi-finals of the European Cup.
