Paris Saint-Germain confirm arrival of David Luiz from Chelsea

Paris Saint-Germain confirm the signing of David Luiz from Chelsea on a five-year deal.

Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed that defender David Luiz has secured a move to the French champions from Chelsea.

The Brazilian was expected to seal a transfer to the Ligue 1 side following reports that Chelsea had agreed to sell him for a fee in the region of £50m.

PSG have now announced on their official website that Luiz has penned a five-year contract and will move to France after the World Cup in his homeland.

Luiz, who moved to the West London club from Benfica in 2011, is the most expensive defender in history following the transfer.
