Patrick Bamford set for Norwich City switch?

Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford is reportedly poised for a switch to fellow Premier League side Norwich City.

Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford is reportedly on the verge of a loan switch to fellow Premier League side Norwich City.

The 22-year-old has been linked with a host of Championship clubs in recent weeks, including Hull City, Queens Park Rangers, Middlesbrough and Wolverhampton Wanderers, as well as several clubs in La Liga.

Now the Canaries are close to taking him for the rest of the season as they bid for top-flight survival, according to the Daily Mail.

Norwich are currently just two points above the relegation places with 15 games of the season still to play.

Bamford joined Crystal Palace on a season-long loan in August but cut short the deal over Christmas after growing frustrated with a lack of playing time.
