Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo insists that he is happy at the club amid reports linking him with a move to Liverpool or Chelsea.

Brighton & Hove Albion's Moises Caicedo has responded to reports linking him with a transfer to Chelsea or Liverpool.

The 21-year-old has insisted that he is happy at the AMEX Stadium after Chelsea reportedly failed with a £55m bid.

"I have been focused on doing things very well and to be up there fighting for a good position. I am focused on Brighton," he told the club's website.

"I handle [the speculation] well. You hear rumours here and there, but I only try to be focused on the club where I am now, the club which opened the doors for me to be playing every week."

Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi also commented on the player's situation a few days ago, telling reporters: "The best solution is that he finishes the season with us. If he continues to play like this in the last games, it's possible that in the summer he can leave for another team."

The Ecuador international has made 18 appearances in the Premier League, scoring one goal and assisting another.
