Real Madrid reportedly become increasingly confident that they will be able to secure the £100m signing of Chelsea forward Eden Hazard in the summer.

Real Madrid are reportedly growing increasingly confident that they will sign Chelsea forward Eden Hazard.

The 28-year-old has spent the last six-and-a-half years at Stamford Bridge, but the Belgium international has made no secret of his desire to represent Real.

Hazard has less than 18 months remaining on his contract, and Chelsea are unlikely to contemplate keeping their star man at the club past the end of the summer window if a new deal has not been signed.

According to The Mirror, contract talks between Chelsea and Hazard have not progressed and it has led Real to believe that they will be able add the player to their squad in the summer.

Chelsea are likely to demand in the region of £100m, but Real are expected to be able to reach an agreement with the Premier League side.
