Wigan Athletic youngster Joe Gelhardt has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for several clubs in the Premier League.
Despite having only turned 17 years of age in May, Gelhardt has already made three substitute appearances for the Latics, including two in the Championship.
However, according to Goal.com, the emergence of the striker has resulted in interest from both Liverpool and Chelsea.
The two English giants - as well as Leicester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers - will allegedly monitor the development of the prospect over the coming months.
Gelhardt still has just under two years remaining on his contract, meaning that Wigan may not necessarily be in a rush to part ways with the frontman.
