Middlesbrough's new manager Aitor Karanka has reportedly decided to try to exploit his positive working relationship with Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho.
Karanka was Mourinho's assistant during his three seasons at Real Madrid and the pair are believed to have discussed the move to Boro.
The Spaniard has identified youngsters Nathaniel Chalobah and Patrick Bamford as players that he would like to take to the Riverside Stadium on a temporary basis from January onwards, according to The People.
Although the pair are currently on loan at Nottingham Forest and MK Dons respectively, Karanka is said to be hopeful that he can tempt Mourinho into lending him both players when their deals at their current clubs expire.
