Eden Hazard reportedly has no intention of penning a new contract at Chelsea amid strong interest from Real Madrid.

Winger Eden Hazard has reportedly decided to reject any offer of a new contract from Chelsea.

Hazard has enjoyed a near seven-year spell at Stamford Bridge, but the 28-year-old has less than 15 months remaining on his existing deal.

Real Madrid are favourites to sign Hazard during the summer transfer window, although Chelsea are expected to be ready to hand the Belgium international fresh terms in the coming months.

However, according to The Telegraph, Hazard has no intention of extending his stay at Chelsea and is ready to leave on a free transfer in 2020 if he is not sold ahead of the next campaign.

The report adds that Real are currently against meeting Chelsea's £100m valuation, but it is unlikely to prevent Hazard from moving to the Bernabeu at some stage in the future.

Hazard has insisted that he remains fully focused on representing Chelsea during the closing weeks of the season.
