Chelsea youngster Conor Gallagher has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for several clubs in the Bundesliga.
The 20-year-old has just concluded an outstanding season in the Championship, contributing six goals and eight assists during spells at Charlton Athletic and Swansea City.
The playmaker will not be short of offers ahead of next season, potentially from Premier League sides as the academy graduate looks to take the next step in his development.
However, according to The Sun, Gallagher will be provided with the opportunity to play in Germany's top flight.
Schalke 04, Mainz 05 and Arminia Bielefeld are all said to be keen on the young Englishman, who is highly regarded by Blues boss Frank Lampard.
Given the influx of attacking talent at Stamford Bridge, Lampard is expected to be happy for Gallagher to go back out on loan, providing that he extends his current contract past 2022.
