Galatasaray chairman Unal Aysal has encouraged Chelsea to make a move for star striker Burak Yilmaz in January.
The Blues have recently been linked with the 28-year-old, who has scored 96 goals in 183 matches in the Turkish Super Lig.
"If he wants to go and Chelsea are interested then of course, why not?" talkSPORT quotes Aysal as saying. "I favour Turkish players going to Europe to play in European leagues.
When asked if the West London side had made an offer, he replied: "No [we have not received an offer from Chelsea], not yet. We had some requests from Lazio at the end of the summer, but the deal didn't go through because the conditions were not satisfied."
Reports have suggested that Cimbom wanted £20m for the striker during the summer transfer window.
