Chelsea have reportedly been handed a major boost in their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland, with the player himself interested in a move to Stamford Bridge.
Thomas Tuchel is thought to be prioritising a move for a new world-class striker this summer, with Tammy Abraham's future uncertain and Timo Werner struggling to adapt to English football.
As well as Haaland, the Blues have been tipped to re-sign Romelu Lukaku, but the Belgium international recently ruled out an exit from Inter Milan this summer.
However, The Telegraph reports that Haaland would be keen on a switch to Chelsea, and he is happy to wait for another 12 months before linking up with ex-Dortmund coach Tuchel.
The Black and Yellow are supposedly holding out for a fee of £172m to sanction Haaland's exit this summer, but the Norwegian's release clause means that he could be available for a modest £66m in comparison next year.
Haaland ended the 2020-21 campaign with 41 goals and 12 assists in 41 games across all competitions, and he netted the winner for Norway in their 1-0 triumph over Luxembourg earlier this month.
