Chelsea will reportedly attempt to swoop for Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Braut Haaland in January.
The Blues have supposedly identified the prolific Norwegian as one of their priority targets for 2021, as Haaland continues to be linked with a move away from Dortmund just one year after his arrival.
With Chelsea reportedly willing to offload as many as seven players in order to fund a move for Haaland, Frank Lampard's men are considered genuine contenders for the 20-year-old's signature.
According to journalist Angelo Mangiante, Lampard wants Haaland at Stamford Bridge for the second half of the 2020-21 campaign and is keen for the Blues to wrap up a deal next month.
However, Dortmund are highly unlikely to sanction a sale midway through the season, and Chelsea would have to fend off interest from Real Madrid, Manchester City and Bayern Munich to land Haaland in 2021.
The Norway international has already registered 17 goals for Dortmund across all competitions in the current campaign, including 10 strikes in eight Bundesliga matches.
