Report: Chelsea agree to pay Juan Cuadrado release clause

Chelsea agree to meet Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado's release clause, according to reports from Italy.

Chelsea have reportedly agreed to meet the release clause of Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado.

The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Blues throughout the January transfer window.

It now appears that a transfer could be close, with Sky Sport Italia reporting that Chelsea will offer £27.5m for the Colombian international.

Cuadrado is in his third season at Fiorentina, having joined the club from Udinese in 2012.
