Chelsea are interested in making a bid for Monaco winger Lucas Ocampos, according to reports.

Chelsea have lined up a bid for Monaco's Argentine winger Lucas Ocampos, according to reports.

The 20-year-old joined the principality club from River Plate in 2012 for £12m, and helped the club obtain promotion to Ligue 1.

With Monaco looking to trim their wage bill, the Daily Star claims that Jose Mourinho's side are looking to bring Ocampos to Stamford Bridge in what they hope would be a cut-price move.

Monaco saw James Rodriguez and Radamel Falcao leave the club in the summer.
