Chelsea have reportedly opened discussions with Thiago Silva and Jorginho over new contracts.
Silva penned a one-year deal with the Blues upon his arrival last summer, but the capital giants do have the option of activating an additional 12 months on the agreement.
Jorginho, meanwhile, has a contract at Stamford Bridge until June 2023, but there was a lot of speculation surrounding the Italy international's future in the last transfer window.
According to Sportitalia, talks have been opened with Silva over the possibility of penning a new deal until June 2023, while Jorginho is set to be offered fresh terms until 2025.
The report claims that new Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel views both players, who were in the starting XI against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday night, as key to his plans moving forward.
Silva played under Tuchel at Paris Saint-Germain, while Jorginho is believed to have been tracked by the 47-year-old during his time in charge of the Ligue 1 giants.
